Setup |

The
OfficePax Service and Client run on a PC with the
following specs:
256 MB RAM
200 MB free
disk space
1.5 GHz
processor or higher
Windows 98Se,
NT, 2000 pro, XP Home/Pro, Vista, Server 2000/3,
Longhorn. |

1. Download and install OfficePax
(both Client and Server) in the computer that you are
going to designate as the OfficePax server. This is for
remote access,
|
|
2. Allow the necessary ports
(default ports are 6999,7000,7001) to be open and
directed at the OfficePax server. |
|
3. Install the OfficePax client on
each computer that will connect to the workgroup. |
|
4. If
you wish to use the dynamic DNS service (PID) that we
offer our clients (easy access remotely) At the OfficePax Service
Manager console, synchronize your IP address with OUR
servers. This way you only need your PID to find your
server address. |
|
5. At the OfficePax server, login
through the client using the information that you used
when registering OfficePax. |
|
6. Begin to setup users and set
their permissions. |
