What's the installation procedure for
setup and configuration?
Installing OfficePax is a three setup
process: Download the Installer, Install
the Service (Server) and Manager
(Client) on the computer you designate
the server, then Install the client on
each machine that needs to connect. More
information on configuration and usage
is available in the setup manual. |

How do I migrate Outlook™
and Act!™
contacts, calendars and email over to
OfficePax?
Migrating from Outlook and ACT is easy:
from Outlook all you need to do is in
OfficePax go to File > Import from
Outlook. This will allow you to choose
what to import (Calendars, Contacts,
Email). As for ACT, you will do the
same, except you will pick to import a
CSV file. Which means that you first
need to export the data from ACT in the
form of a CSV. |

Does OfficePax work with Outlook™
or with an Exchange server?
OfficePax is its own email client. It
does not work with Outlook. However, it
will work with Exchange POP accounts,
just like Outlook would. |

What are the network requirements?
The
network requirements for using OfficePax
are simple; a fully functional LAN and a
router that you can forward ports from.
You do not need to setup a Domain or a
Workgroup. |

Where's the email stored?
The
email and for that matter, all data
that is used in OfficePax is stored on
your server. |

What's the size limit on the email
database?
There
is no size limit on your email database;
only a 2GB limit per folder. |

What about backup?

only folder you need to backup is the
OfficePax folder on your server. |

What Spam filters do I have?
OfficePax provides you with the same
features that any other email server
(minus a third party spam filter)
provides you with - delete messages,
refuse messages, etc. |

Windows 2000/2003 domain?
No
special considerations; like you would
for any other install. |

How many users can I setup on an
OfficePax network?
Currently, up to 99 users can be online
at any given time. |
